About Natalia
Natalia Golubenko is a multidisciplinary artist — a creative producer and event organizer, and one half of the Brutalism-inspired fashion label SELVA HUYGENS.
As a Metropol Guru, she leads curated discovery tours, revealing how Berlin became a magnet for artists from around the world. Along the way, she shares her perspective on the city’s creative history — from squatted buildings and the rise of legendary clubs to today’s thriving art and fashion scene.
Drawn by stories of West Berlin’s underground scene and the artists who occupied abandoned buildings after the fall of the Wall, she moved to Berlin in 2019.
Since then, she has become a prominent figure in the local creative community. She develops immersive audiovisual installations and live performances, organizes multidisciplinary events, runs a music label, and is co-founder of SELVA HUYGENS. Her artistic vision is rooted in storytelling, material transformation, and narrative-driven audiovisual art — spanning experimental media projects to avant-garde, sustainable fashion.
