In his experience-programs, the expert Jobst-Christian Haacke invites participants to discover Berlin in a truly unique way: behind the wheel of his classic car, he leads historical explorations through the city – passing sites of political, cultural, and architectural upheaval. A personal, knowledgeable journey through Berlin’s history.
The fully qualified lawyer and former partner of a major international law firm has lived in Berlin since 1992 and is passionately engaged with the city’s history, architecture, and development. His particular interests include the Weimar Republic, the post-reunification period, and the historical responsibilities of urban spaces.
As a co-founder of the Gesellschaft Historisches Berlin, he played a key role in the restoration of Pariser Platz and shaped central debates on the design of the Lustgarten and the Berlin City Palace. Through the Liebermann Society, he accompanied the restoration of the Liebermann House on Pariser Platz and the Liebermann Villa at Wannsee over many years.
