For over 20 years, Dr. Strunz has led study trips across Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, the Baltics, the Czech Republic, Austria, and the Kaliningrad region. He brings historical, cultural, and geographical contexts to life in a vivid and engaging way.
After studying at the Free University of Berlin, he worked in development aid in South America and spent nearly 30 years teaching geosciences. Alongside his academic work, he pursued his passion for classical music, including writing concert introductions for the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.
