The geologist and tourism expert Eckart Granitza is a passionate storyteller with an eye for detail. He has worked as a science journalist for over two decades for 3sat and ZDF, and has written for renowned German-language newspapers such as Die Welt, Berliner Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, Wiener Zeitung, and Schweizer Tagesanzeiger.
In addition to his journalistic work, he has taught at Berlin’s prestigious School of Tourism, striving to combine theory with practical experience.
His passions include literature, history, and fine wine – as well as noticing the subtle nuances in familiar surroundings. Having grown up in Wannsee, he knows not only the routes of his tours but also their stories – from major historical events to seemingly trivial details that suddenly gain significance.
